Somaiya Vidyavihar (SVV) / Somaiya Ayurvihar (SAV) has a well-earned reputation as an “Institution of Opportunity”.

We are dedicated to ensuring that we make education affordable & worthy for our students. Somaiya Scholarship is an opportunity offered to all Somaiya Vidyavihar and Ayurvihar students pursuing different courses from Diploma to Degree. The scholarship is designed to provide tuition assistance to hardworking, meritorious students with financial needs.

In the spirit of Management’s commitment to assuring broader access to its educational resources, we are committed to providing financial assistance (need-based scholarships) to all students who demonstrate need while also rewarding all meritorious students that excel in academics (merit-cum need based scholarships). With this pledge, we make every effort to create a learning environment that embraces students from the widest possible range of backgrounds.

The Somaiya Institutes offer the opportunity to earn a degree in an academically stimulating and diverse community. Making an informed decision on how to fund your education is an essential component in laying the foundation for a meaningful learning experience. These awards are made possible through endowment funds from the Trust and the generous support of our alumni and well-wishers.

Every year, alumni, Management, and well-wishers of Somaiya group provide financial support to ensure that every student has an exceptional educational experience.

The scholarships listed on this site celebrate the commitment and generosity of these donors or those in whose honor the funds were created. Scholarships are awarded based upon criteria that usually reflect the values and purposes or the specific nature of the scholarship.

The selection process will follow the below mentioned procedure:

  • Submission of the Application: The Application window for Somaiya Scholarship is open from the first week of July to the first week of September every year.
  • Screening: Applications are sorted and ranked based on the scholarships criteria’s
  • Evaluation
    1. Applicants found eligible after the screening, will go through an interview round
    2. Scrutiny /verification of documents will be done as per the requirements
  • Award of Financial Aid:
    1. Awards decisions are made based on the availability of the funds and the number of applicants.
    2. Scholarship office will notify all selected students by email about their award amount.
    3. Scholarship funds will be transferred to the respective institution against student name
    4. Applicant can submit the copy of the award email to the accounts and collect their cheque
    5. Scholarship award is applicable for the entire duration of program
    6. The decision of the Scholarship office will be final and cannot be challenged under any circumstance
